These are my other preliminary designs.
scarecrow Reflection october 5, 2012 1. The strong or good parts of our scarecrow is probably the head. I think its the head because we had a different plan for it but it turned out pretty good!
2. I think I could have the arms better because they look pretty lumpy. We could have stuffed it better.
3. The scarecrows name is The famous. We named it that because it is a mexican and alien theme and it looks silly and if you ever seen a mexican alien it would be famous.
4. The major color in this design is black or brown because the sweatshirt, the mustache, and the hair is those colors. It doesnt really have meaning for those colors it just happened.
5. To make it 3-D we stood it up. We stuffed the clothes with paper it make sure it looked real. We used the milk carton it make it more round and real.
6. I learned about nailing wood together and screwinng wood together. Gabe taught me how to do that while making the skeleton of the creature. If I ever wanted to nail something together in the future or if I wanted to be a construction worker, I could use these skills.
7. We had to make a bunch of changes. We were supposed to have a jason theme but we couldnt find the correct materials. We decided to make a skeleton and then just go from there. We put Gabes clothes on it and it looked mexican so we made it a mexican. The milk carton made it look like an alien.
8. I think this is a good project. You learned a lot about shape and form and you also learned some about color. I liked to make the scarecrow because it showed our imagintaion and what we can make out of nothing really.
